Authorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have imposed Section 144 in the provincial capital due to security fears, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to Peshawar Deputy Commissioner Shah Fahd, the sensitive security situation has prompted the imposition of the Section 144 barring fathering of five or more people.
Teh deputy commissioner further said that due to the feeble security situation, Section 144 has been enforced in the provincial capital, which will remain effective for three days.
Shah Fahad warned that those who will violate Section 144 will be dealt with under Section 188.
It may be mentioned here that the PTI has announced to hold rallies in Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar today to mark the International Workers’ Day.
