Female student goes missing in Lahore’s Gulberg area

Lahore police have registered an abduction case after a college student went missing from the Gulberg area, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

According to police, the female student of Gulberg College Lahore left home to sit for an examination but did not return.

Her family later reported her disappearance, following which her brother lodged a complaint, leading to the registration of a case against unidentified individuals.

Officials said the alleged incident occurred within the Gulberg jurisdiction, one of Lahore’s busy commercial and residential districts.

Police said closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from multiple locations is being collected and analysed.

 Footage from nearby areas has already been reviewed as investigators attempt to trace the student’s movements.

The police officials added that evidence is being gathered and all possible leads are being pursued.

“We are working on all aspects of the case and hope to establish facts soon,” a police official said.
