Two young brothers drowned in Nawabshah

Two young brothers drowned in an irrigation canal in the Tando area of Nawabshah on Friday after entering deep water to bathe during hot weather, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

Rescue 1122 teams recovered the bodies of both children from the canal after search operations in the Amiri canal area.

According to rescue officials, the boys went into the water to cool off from the heat but slipped into deeper sections and were unable to get out.

The victims were identified as 12-year-old Hasan Shah and 10-year-old Fida Hussain Shah, both reported to be siblings.

Officials said the bodies were handed over to the family after the necessary procedures.
