Two Hindu cousins drown in water pit in Tharparkar

Two young cousins lost their lives after drowning in a water-filled pit in the village of Bhakuo in Tharparkar, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the channel report, the tragic incident has left the local community in mourning.
Local authorities said the bodies of the two children were recovered from the water pit shortly after the incident.
The victims were identified as Mehtab, son of Vishnu, and Shahdev, son of Kasturo.
Local authorities have confirmed that the two boys were first cousins and belong to the Hindu community.
The incident has cast a shadow of grief over the village, with relatives and residents mourning the loss of the two children.
