Seven militants killed by security forces in North Waziristan

Seven militants sponsored by the Indian proxy Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in two engagements in North Waziristan District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Dec 1.

An intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces in general area Mir Ali on reports of presence of militants in the area. During the operation, troops effectively traced the khwarij location and killed six of them after an intense exchange of fire.

Another intelligence-based operation was conducted in general area Spinwam. In the ensuing exchange of fire, a kharji was neutralised by the security forces.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists sponsored by India. These terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces of Pakistan, law enforcement agencies and targeted killing of innocent civilians.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists in the area.

A relentless counterterrorism campaign is being carried out under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan). Security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan are working at full pace to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country.
