Dacoits in Karachi are on a looting spree while police have turned a blind eye as Rs1.1 million were looted from the office of Ehsas Programme at Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

By the police reached the crime scene, dacoits had fled along with the booty.

The dacoits also thrashed the office staff before running away with the cash.

The office’s administration told the media that although security was provided on a daily basis but today (Friday) police contingent was not deployed despite repeated requests.

Eyewitnesses said four people intruded into the Ehsas Programme office while two kept standing outside.
