JI, PTI join hands for Senate election

The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and the Jamat-i-Islami have joined hands for the upcoming Senate election. 

The development took place in a meeting between Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhry and Amirul Azeem on Monday. During the meeting, the leaders of PTI and JI took over the strategy for the Senate election and the JI decided to stay away from the voting in Sindh and the Centre. 

Welcoming the JI, Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhry expressed gratitude to Amirul Azeem for siding with the ruling PTI. The PTI senator expressed the hope that the party will turn up to be victorious in the contest.
