Gold prices in Pakistan break all previous records despite decrease in Int’l market

The gold prices in Pakistan continued to break records Thursday despite the yellow metal seeing a decrease in value in the international market.
The 24News HD TV channel reported that the gold prices continued their record-breaking spree in Pakistani markets as it saw another huge increase of Rs9,400 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan jewellers Association, the price of 24-Karat gold reached an all-time high of Rs2,06,500 per tola after seeing an increase of Rs9,400.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-Karat gold reached Rs1,77,040 after seeing an increase of Rs8,068 per 10 grams.
While the price of 10 grams of 22-Karat gold, used in making the jewellery, reached Rs1,62,287.
In the international market, the price of one ounce of gold decreased by $1 and was being traded for $1,836 per ounce.
The prices of silver in the country also reached another high as the price of 24-Karat silver reached at Rs2200 per tola after seeing an increase of Rs120 per tola.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-Karat silver reached Rs1,886.14 after seeing an increase of Rs102.88 per 10 grams.
