FBR fixes minimum price for tea leaves import

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has fixed a minimum price for the import and supply of tea leaves.

According to a notification, the retail price of tea leaves will be at least Rs1,200 per kg.

Sales tax on import and supply of tea will be levied on the same fixed price.
