Salman Khan’s lookalike arrested in Lucknow
Salman Khan’s lookalike, named Aazam Ansari, was arrested in Lucknow for allegedly blocking the road and arguing with people, Indian media reported.
According to the Free Press Journal, Ansari was also making a video with a gun, following which he was arrested.
In one of the videos that the lookalike shared on Instagram, he was seen sitting in a police jeep while being taken to the police station.
Ansari claimed that he was just having a cup of tea when the cops arrested him.
Police officials claim that his gun’s licence expired in 2022 and has not been renewed.
In a report, Ansari claimed that he was unable to get bail and is being beaten by the police officials.
“(Police tortured me last night. Now, I have come here for bail, and I am not getting it.
“The plan is to send me to jail. What have I done that I should go to jail?" he said.
“They are cancelling the licensc of my revolver.
“If tomorrow someone comes and shoots me, who will take the responsibility?
You guys, please help me, say the truth. No one came to meet me, I was in lock up for the whole night)," Ansari added.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently enjoying the success of his latest release, Sikandar. In less than a week, the film is inching close to Rs 100 crore mark at the box office.
