Another case registered against Sheikh Rashid

Another case has been registered against former federal interior minister Sheikh Rashid, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

The case was registered in Murree police station on the complaint of Islamabad police, alleging that Sheikh Rasheed with three armed men attacked the raiding team 

They had guns too while Sheikh Rashid hurled death threats, used abusive language and during the clash, the shirt of a cop was torn, it is alleged.

Earlier in the day, police took the AML chief to the court of a judicial magistrate Umar Shabir and got his two-day physical remand.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmad underwent a medical examination at Poly Clinic Hospital after he complained of sickness.

He complained to the media that the police kept him cold the whole night while he was caught misbehaving with the police.

Sheikh Rashid also hinted at filing a contempt of court petition in the Supreme Court of Pakistan as he was arrested by police despite the fact that a court granted him bail and ordered the inspector-general of police to appear before the court on February 6.
