In an important headway in the investigation into the terrorist incident at a Peshawar mosque, the suicide bomber’s face has been identified, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.  

On the other hand, a woman has been included in the probe as she has been asked to identify the suicide bomber.

The DNA sample has also been obtained.  

Moreover, the investigators have found helmet of the bomber lying just outside the mosque where the people remove their shoes before entering the place of worship.

Besides that, another CCTV footage of the incident has been obtained.

A suicide bomber had exploded himself at a mosque during Zuhr prayers inside Police Lines in Peshawar on January 30, 2023 (Monday), martyring over hundred worshippers, including policemen, and leaving a trail of destruction behind.

The incident sent a wave of shock across the country as the nation demanded tough penalties for the perpetrators of the crime.
