ADB approves $800m financing package for Pakistan

Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved 800 million dollars financing package for Pakistan under Resource Mobilization Reform Programme, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a post on his X handle uploaded on Tuesday, Adviser to Finance Minister Khurram Schehzad said diplomacy led by Economic Affairs and Ministry of Finance secures majority support at ADB Board.

“The ADB approves $800M financing package for Pakistan under Resource Mobilization Reform Program (Subprogram-II)- $300 million policy-based loan (PBL) + $500 million policy-based guarantee (PBG). Diplomacy led by Economic Affairs and Ministry of Finance secure majority support at ADB board”, the advisor said.
