Salik pledges to unite PML-Q factions in Sindh

Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain has said that efforts will be made to unite the factions of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) in Sindh, stressing that unity within the party is the need of the time. 

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the minister made these remarks while addressing a gathering in Karachi.

During his speech, the minister said that the party must come together to better serve the people of Sindh and the wider country. 

He added that political work should focus on public service rather than personal gain, noting that politics had increasingly been treated as a source of livelihood by some.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain also pledged that workers in the country would not be left alone, assuring that their concerns would be addressed through continuous effort.

The minister said he would work day and night to resolve issues faced by labourers and ensure that their rights are protected.

He further stated that no one would be disappointed, as the government would strive to resolve public problems through practical measures. 

Referring to administrative matters, he questioned why officials should fear accountability if they were performing their duties properly, adding that only those involved in wrongdoing should be concerned.

The minister also announced that a plan would be developed to address pending pension cases, ensuring that those awaiting payments receive their dues. 

He reiterated his commitment to serving the people of Sindh and Pakistan, emphasising that public service should remain the priority for all leaders.
