The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) Friday announced to postpone the inter-exams due to expected heavy rain on Saturday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Karachi board had postponed the papers and practicals of both, the eleventh and the twelfth grades.
The board spokesperson said the new dates of the postponed papers of the eleventh class and practicals of the twelfth class would be announced later.
The spokesperson said that the board had postponed the exams of intermediate for the convenience of students and parents.
On the other hand, students of the LLB in Dadu district refused to give their papers and demanded changing their examination centre.
The LLB students staged a sit-in in front of the Sindh University campus and said the administration was not following the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and blocks in the examination centre were too close.
Separately, the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has declared anti-corona vaccination mandatory for the candidates of the examinations.
The commission said that the candidates would not be able to take the exam without vaccination after September 15.
