Four suspects killed in as many encounters with CCD in Lahore 

Four suspects, allegedly involved in drug smuggling and other heinous crimes, were killed reportedly in four encounters with the Crime Control Department (CCD) in Lahore on Wednesday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to sources in the police, the encounters took place in Nishtar and Kahna areas of the provincial capital.

Sources further said that the suspects were killed due to the firing by their own accomplices, while some of their accomplices fled taking advantage of the darkness.

They elaborated that Naveed Billa and Anjum Anju were killed in an encounter with the CCD Model Town, while Shahid Shahidi and Mujahid Haji were gunned down in an encounter with the CCD Kahna.

Police said they had shifted the bodies to a mortuary for the post-mortem.
