Terrorist death toll in Balochistan attacks rises to 197

Security sources said on Tuesday that 197 militants belonging to “Fitnaul Hindustan” have been killed in anti-terror operations carried out over the past three days.

According to the sources, follow-up and sanitisation operations are still underway in different areas of Balochistan to eliminate remaining threats.

The sources added that 22 personnel from Pakistan’s security forces — including the Army, Frontier Corps (FC), Police and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) — embraced martyrdom while protecting the country and its citizens during the operations.

They stated that 36 innocent civilians, including women, children and Baloch residents, were also killed in attacks carried out by the militants.

Security forces continue to conduct operations in affected areas to restore normalcy and ensure public safety, the sources said.
