Former Pacer Aqib Javed Tuesday, while talking to the press heavily criticized the Pakistani cricket team, especially the Middle batting order, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Aqib Javed said that the Pakistani team was more exposed during the Asia Cup 2022 and the Pak-England series played in the homeland. He said that things will not be better until they are not fixed.

The Middle order is the most problematic and Babar Azam should be playing on the fourth number. Babar should also quit being stubborn and let Shoaib Malik play on the fifth number as the player playing on the fifth has to face the spin bowlers and he is the fittest and most valuable player in the team, said the Former Pakistani player.

He further said that the Middle-order can never be relied upon, the audience leaves as soon as the openers are out.

The coach said that the Batsmen cannot sustain short bowling techniques and are bowled out instantly. Even Babar and Rizwan don’t score as fast and as much as the other teams do. Other teams make more than 70 runs while the opener duo does not even makeup to 50, making runs around 200 or more has become almost impossible for Pakistan and seemingly our team cannot defeat the top teams.
