Multan Sultans beat Quetta Gladiators by six wickets in PSL 11 clash
Multan Sultans defeated Quetta Gladiators by six wickets in the 13th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11 at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on Sunday, chasing down 167 with four wickets down.
Steve Smith top-scored with 53, while Shan Masood made 46 and Sahibzada Farhan contributed 32 as Multan completed the chase comfortably after Quetta posted 166 for seven.
Hasan Nawaz took two wickets for Quetta, but the rest of the bowling attack failed to halt Multan’s steady progress.
Earlier, Quetta Gladiators set a target of 167 runs for Multan Sultans.
Multan, winning the toss, opted to field first, inviting Quetta to bat.
The Gladiators finished their 20-over innings at 166 for seven, posting a competitive total on the board.
Captain Saud Shakeel led the charge with a brisk 56 off 41 balls, while Bevon Jacobs remained unbeaten on 49, anchoring the innings and giving the team a solid finish.

Ahmed Daniyal contributed 22 runs before retiring hurt due to an injury.
For Multan Sultans, Muhammad Nawaz was the pick of the bowlers, claiming three wickets, while Arafat Minhas chipped in with two dismissals, putting pressure on the Gladiators during the middle overs.
