The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused 4kg explosives at a mosque in Harnai on Wednesday. Some unidentified accused had left a mysterious bag in Jamia mosque. The mosque in-charge spotted the bag and informed the police. The police upon search found explosives in the bag and called in the BDS, which defused the explosives.

The police suspected that miscreants had brought the explosives for a subversive activity ahead of a Kashmir solidarity rally.

Meanwhile in a similar incident, the BDS defused 400gm explosive at a departmental store in Sohbat Kaly of Risalpura, in Nowshera district of KP.

According to police, a suspicious person entered a local grocery store and left a bag with the request that he will take it back soon on return. He, however, did not return

Shop owner Munwar Khan then informed the police. The Risalpur police responded swiftly, and the bomb disposal squad was called in which defused the 400gm explosives.
