Special Security Unit (SSU) personnel’s appearance in the Sindh High Court (SHC) proved costly for him as the court ordered police high-ups to initiate an inquiry against him in connection with allegations of occupying a woman’s property, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The channel reported that Head Constable Syed Ahmer Hameed had filed a petition in the SHC against Iqbalun Nisa for complaining to his bosses that he had occupied her land.
But the cop was stunned when the court instead of ordering any action against the defendant, directed his seniors to ascertain whether he was involved in the case, and if yes, take strict action against him.
Senior officials of the SSU, on the occasion, assured the SHC of complete compliance with its orders.
