Not everybody is your friend!

As the sayings go “some people will only ‘love you’ as much as they can use you” and “better to have an enemy who can slap you in the face than a friend who can stab you in the back”, the same happened in a court in Islamabad where a man trying to deceive the judge by appearing in place of his friend in connection with a case landed in jail on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

An interesting situation arose in the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad when the judge ordered to arrest accused Bilal Khan by cancelling his bail and sending him to jail.

During the hearing of the case, Additional Sessions Judge Jahangir Awan ordered the arrest of accused Bilal Khan and cancelled his bail over his failure to submit surety bonds.

On hearing judge’s order, the accused, who was not Bilal Khan rather his friend Shahid Karim, cried aloud that he was not Bilal but his pal, admitting that he appeared in the court in place of his friend.

Shahid Karim told the stunned judge that his friend Bilal Khan had assured him that no action would be taken against him during his appearance in the court.

After knowing the real story, a fuming judge also ordered that arrest of Shahid Karim and sent him to jail, saying “You tried to deceive the court by faking as accused in the case”.
