Three security guards killed, two missing in Duki firing
Three security guards were killed and two others went missing after firing involving unknown armed men in the Jhalar agricultural area of Duki district in Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to police, the incident occurred in the Jhalar agricultural area associated with Sardar Akbar Khan Nasir, where the guards were deployed.
Police received information about firing between the guards and unidentified armed men and subsequently dispatched a team to the Poṛh mountainous area.
The bodies of the three guards were recovered from the Poṛh area. The deceased were identified as Ghani alias Ghano, Agha Jan and Izzat Khan, police said.
Police further revealed that the three deceased guards were Afghan nationals.
The bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Duki for necessary legal formalities.
Police said two other guards, identified as Nadir Khan and Bashir Khan, remained missing.
A search for the missing men was underway as police investigated the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Authorities were also working to determine the motive for the firing and establish the identity and whereabouts of those involved.
