IG Islamabad changed on poor performance

Inspector General (IG) Police Islamabad Qazi Jameel-ur-Rehman has been removed from his post due to his poor performance on the law and order situation in the capital city.

The 24News HD TV channel reported on Monday that Qazi has been replaced by DIG Operations Lahore Ahsan Younis.

Punjab has handed over the Grade-20 Police Officer’s services to the federation as a new chief of the law enforcement force.

Former IG Islamabad Qazi Jameel-ur-Rehman has been directed to report to the Establishment Division as the notification of his removal has also been issued.
