14 Indian-sponsored terrorists killed in KP, Balochistan operations

As many as 14 Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed in operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.

According to an ISPR statement released on Saturday, on 5 December 2025, nine khwarij belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al-Khwarij were killed in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

On reported presence of khwarij, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces personnel in Tank District. During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location and after an intense fire exchange, seven khwarij were sent to hell.

Another intelligence-based operation was conducted in Lakki Marwat District. In the ensuing fire exchange, two more khwarij terrorists were effectively neutralised by the security forces.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from killed Indian-sponsored khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces, law enforcement agencies and target killing of innocent civilians.

Sanitization operations were conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored kharji found in the area as relentless counter-terrorism campaign under vision “Azm-e-Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country, the ISPR statement concluded.

Five Indian-sponsored terrorists killed in Dera Bugti

Separately, security forces killed five Indian-sponsored terrorists in Dera Bugti District of Balochistan on December 5.

Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation and located terrorists’ location. They killed five militants after an intense exchange of fire. 

Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area. Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any remaining Indian sponsored terrorist in the area.

President, PM, interior minister commend security forces

President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi have lauded the security forces for carrying out successful operations against Fitna al-Khwarij terrorists in Tank and Lakki Marwat districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Dera Bugti district of Balochistan.

In their statements, they praised the courage of the forces for thwarting the heinous designs of the Indian-sponsored Fitna al Khawarij.

The President said the resolve of the nation and the forces will remain intact until the end of this "Fitnah".

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said security forces are achieving great successes against terrorism under the vision of "Azm e Istehkam". He said the entire nation stands with the armed forces in the war against terrorism.

The Prime Minister expressed the government's firm resolve to eradicate all forms of terrorism from the country.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has commended Pakistan’s security forces for conducting two successful intelligence-based operations against India-sponsored militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, praising their professionalism, courage, and swift action.

Naqvi lauded the forces for eliminating nine terrorists, stating that the timely operations thwarted major threats and demonstrated the exceptional skill and commitment of Pakistan’s security personnel. “The security forces neutralized the militants with remarkable efficiency,” he said.

Paying tribute to the troops, the minister said he “highly appreciates the security forces for crushing the nefarious designs of these militants.” He added that the nation takes pride in the bravery and professionalism of its soldiers.

Naqvi noted that the security apparatus continues to secure major successes in the fight against extremist elements, emphasizing that security forces remain fully determined to restore and maintain lasting peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
