Fire erupts at optical shop in Lahore due to short-circuit  

Fire erupted at an optical shop in Lahore’s Makkah Colony on Thursday that engulfed a nearby house; however, there was no loss of life, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Firefighters were busy extinguishing the blaze till last reports came in. 

Rescue 1122 officials said that the fire erupted due to short-circuit. 

Motorway Police recover arms from vehicle

On Wednesday, Motorway Police (MP) recovered a large number of weapons from a vehicle on M-11, connecting Lahore to Sialkot, and took four persons into custody.  

As per the MP officials’ account, a car was signaled to stop near Mehmood Booti. 

And when it was searched, the police personnel found weapons and a drone camera in it.
