Sharing screen with Diljit Dosanjh left lasting impression: Shushmiita Singh 

Model Shushmiita Singh has said sharing screen with Diljit Dosanjh left a lasting impression on her.

The Bollywood actress features in musician Diljit Dosanjh’s music video Tension - the first look of the song has just dropped. 

Talking to TOI, Singh shared the experience of sharing the screen space with the Punjab star.

She said: “I always believe in being prepared for any opportunity that comes my way. When I got the call for this project, I was taken aback, but I mentally prepared myself to give my best and nail every shot in a single take.”

She added: Diljit’s authenticity is truly inspiring, and it left a lasting impression on her. Celebration. It beautifully blends the modern and traditional world, making it a true tribute to Diljit ‘s incredible journey. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity. It feels like the beginning of something bigger, I am excited to see where this journey takes me.”

This isn’t her first music video. She shared the screen with Salim-Sulaiman in Sajda Ve video.  Sushmiita Singh has been part of multiple TV shows like Mehndi Wala Ghar, Aankh Micholi etc.

She started modelling at the young age of 14, with a clear vision to one day dominate the ramp.  In 2019, she made history by becoming the first Asian and Indian to win Miss Teen World.  During this time, she also delivered a powerful TEDx talk, leaving everyone impressed. 

In 2022, she was crowned Miss India United Continents and was also appointed as the Youth Ambassador for Road Safety with the World Series for a remarkable eight-year tenure. She is set to star in two upcoming films, Headlines Today and Main.
