Education Dept issues new instructions regarding teachers’ transfers in Punjab

School Education Department issuing instructions regarding teachers’ transfers in Punjab has ordered strict implementation of e-Transfer Policy 2024, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to instructions, teachers will not be allowed to transfer without completing the academic session and fulfilling their responsibilities.

Only teachers who have completed three years will be eligible for transfer.

Before transfer, it will be mandatory for teachers to complete all academic and administrative matters.

Preparation of results and completion of parent-teacher meeting have been made a condition.

Transferred teachers will have to obtain a certificate from the head teacher.

No transfer or relief will be granted without a certificate.

The concerned DEO will be responsible for violation of the policy.

Education Department ordered to take violations seriously.

All CEOs instructed to ensure complete implementation of the policy.
