The opposition has demanded convening of a Senate session as they submitted a requisition in this regard, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

 According to details, the Opposition has submitted the requisition to convene the session of the Upper House of the Parliament and subsequently also prepared an agenda for the meeting.

The agenda of the Senate session includes a detailed discussion on coronavirus issue, national security and foreign policy.

This development comes after the demand of the Opposition to call a session of the National Assembly.
