♦ PDM decided to hold marches in all provinces that would convert later into a long march against the high inflation in the country; the date of the long march would be announced in the third week of November; alliance have also made all the opposition parliamentarians stay in Islamabad; rally power show sets to be stage from Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar; leader of the opposition Shehbaz Sharif to remain in contact with PPP in assembly

♦ The second investigation report of the Daska fraud reveals both the district police and the administrative chiefs were instrumental in the fraud; Deputy Commissioner Issues Illegal Orders to Subordinate Officers; the meeting was also held at the AC's home to plan the fraud; recommendation for action against all senior officials of the Investigation Committee

♦ National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has acquitted another former federal minister Amir Mehmood Kiyani of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) in a case of selling expensive drugs;  anti-graft body on Saturday gave a clean chit to former federal minister Amir Mehmood Kiyani who belongs to the ruling PTI in a case of selling medicines at exorbitant prices

♦ PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique says that they don't have a required vote for passing the no-confidence against the PM in the National Assembly so they had no need to do such kind of misadventure; might be they received a vote of the government members and their allies in the matter of moving a no-confidence motion in the house but it could be proved a misadventure; Ayaz Sadiq says that the price of oil rose overnight and electricity went up the next day

♦ Sugar in some areas out of stock, expensive in others; price of sugar reaches to Rs160 per kilogram in Peshawar and Faisalabad; price of 50 kg bag of sugar reaches Rs7500

♦ There is a surge in the price of food items; prices of bakery items got expensive ranging from Rs10 to Rs70; the price of big bread and small bread reaches to Rs130 and Rs70 respectively; price of brown bread reaches Rs90; the pack of 80-grams cake rush reaches to Rs60

♦ Pakistan Sugar Mills Association Vice Chairman Sikandar Khan says that the government was responsible for the hike in sugar price because of its wrong policies; reveals that they had got a very low stock of the commodity. He stated that it was wrong to make sugar mills responsible for this mess

♦ The government has planned to introduce plastic currency in order to check the rampant circulation of fake currency in the country; for new plastic currency, designs are prepared by the Peshawar University, with denominations of rupees 50, 100, 500 and 1,000 containing the latest features will be introduced
