FESCO revises cost of new smart meter connections

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has revised the costs of new smart meter connections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to the notification issued by GMC & CS FESCO Mubashir Hayat Rao, the new price of single-phase smart meter connection set at Rs 23,500, and for line length up to 40 meters, the single-phase connection available for Rs 26,000. 

Moreover, the price of three-phase smart meter connection set at Rs 65,500, while with service line up to 40 meters, the price of three-phase connection is fixed at Rs 76,000. 

According to the notification, the new rates will be effective from September 1, 2025. Also. in case of line more than 40 meters, estimate will be prepared under NEPRA formula. The FESCO has issued a letter to all Superintending Engineers (SEs).
