SJC makes two additional IHC judges permanent

The Supreme Judicial Council of Pakistan has given approval to make two additional judges of the Islamabad High Court permanent, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A meeting of Supreme Judicial Council of Pakistan was held in Islamabad on Tuesday under the chair of Supreme Court Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmad.
Sources informed that the Supreme Judicial Council gave approval to make the services of two additional judges of the Islamabad High Court permanent. The judges whose services were made permanent included: Justice Babar Sattar and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.
Both Justice Sattar and Justice Jahangari were appointed as additional judges of the IHC last year.
