Spokesman defends NAB chief

A spokesperson for the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has declared Chaudhry brothers’ criticism propaganda against the anti-corruption watchdog.

The leadership of PML-Q, an ally of PTI government, challenged the authority of NAB chief, citing the findings of a probe 19-years ago. The court sought a reply from NAB on May 11.

However, the NAB spokesman said the anti-corruption body head has not gone against the law of land.

“Since NAB chairman hasn’t ordered reopening of the old cases, propaganda against the accountability body head is fruitless.
