Fan showers 100 maunds of roses on Maryam Nawaz in Multan
The welcome for Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Multan has taken a spectacular turn, as an enthusiastic fan arrived with a staggering 100 maunds of flowers to shower on the chief minister, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Citizens were seen gathered along the roads with flower petals to welcome Maryam Nawaz, while one enthusiastic supporter brought as much as 100 maunds of flowers for the occasion.
According to the citizen, he brought the flowers to express his happiness and affection for Maryam Nawaz. He said the chief minister was carrying out development work across Punjab and that he wanted to show his appreciation by showering flowers during her welcome.
The unusual gesture quickly became a talking point, as the citizen arrived with the huge quantity of flowers specifically for the chief minister’s reception in Multan.
