The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan has geared up its political activities in the Sindh capital, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
The party had three meetings in a day in Karachi- the city once remained in its control. Amir Khan addressed the meeting in Federal B Area, Wasim Akhtar in Scheme 33 and Kanwar Naveed Jameel in Sarjani Town.
Earlier in the day, a delegation of MQM-P called on Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan to discuss matters of mutual interest.
The PM said all stakeholders would be taken into confidence on the matter of national interests and the institutions are independent.
He said electronic voting machines will bring transparency and emphasised the need for raising awareness about EVMs,
The delegates told the premier the government and allied parties were playing an effective role in the development of Sindh, especially Karachi. They commended Prime Minister Imran Khan for the federal government’s projects of public transport and infrastructure in Karachi.
