PTI's candidate from Lahore quit party

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader and a ticket holder from PP -173, Malik Sarfraz Khokhar has decided to quit the party, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to sources, he has taken the decision due to the confronting policies of the party with the national institutions. Announcing his decision to leave the party, he said that he was parting ways with the PTI over the events of May 9 especially.

“The Pakistan Army has rendered numerous sacrifices for the security and sovereignty of the country,” he said adding that the party has maintained an aggressive narrative against its state institutions over May 9, which is harmful to the country's interest.

Sarfraz Khokhar said that enough is enough, he is unable to walk with the \PTI anymore.
