Continuous rainfall over the past five days has triggered multiple landslides in Murree, affecting several areas and causing significant disruption to daily life, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

According to the channel report, in Jhika Gali, a number of houses were damaged as falling debris struck residential structures, while roads across various parts of the hill station were also impacted.

According to the district administration, affected families are being provided with essential supplies, including ration, tents, blankets, and clean drinking water.

Temporary accommodation has been arranged, with a building in Jhika Gali designated for immediate shelter, while two families have been shifted to rented houses arranged by the administration.

Officials said that all relevant departments have been placed on high alert, with teams actively working in the field to manage the situation.

Administrative officers are continuously present on-site to oversee relief efforts and ensure timely assistance to those affected.
