CM Gandapur heads Deputy Commissioners conference

Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur presided over the deputy commissioners conference on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

The relevant members of the provincial cabinet, the chief secretary and the additional chief secretary participated, apart from the administrative secretaries, divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners across the province also participated. 

Addressing the conference, CM Gandapur directed DCs of the concerned districts to take all out measures for the welfare of the people.   

The conference discussed ways to improve the public service delivery at the district level under the Good Governance Roadmap of the Provincial Government. These sectors include health, education, agriculture, livestock, tourism, social welfare, local government, administration and security. These goals include 9 from the local government, 3 from the tourism, 2 from social welfare and livestock each and 1 from education, health and farming each. 

The deadline of December 2025 has been given to the deputy commissioners to achieve these goals. 

CM Gandapur directed the health department to make sure that there is 100 percent availability of the necessary medicines, equipment and medical staff in all the primary health centers. In the educational sector, the target is the attendance of students and teachers in government schools and ensuring 100 percent availability of the missing facilities in all the schools. 

In the agricultural sector, ensuring the availability of fertilizers, seeds, farming machinery and pesticides in all the farm service centers. In the livestock sector, ensuring 100 percent availability of the required staff, medicines and equipment in the veterinary hospitals. A target of making all the tourism facilitation desks and restrooms operational in the tourist areas. 

A target was set to ensure better management and maintenance of all Darul Aman, Shelters and Zamong Core Centers of the Provincial Government. A target is set to ensure cleanliness and service delivery in public places like bus stands, parks, vegetable markets and slaughterhouses.
