National wrestler’s young son drowns in Bhera Drain

A boy aged six drowned in a drain in Bhera while swimming with three other children, according to Rescue 1122.

Rescue officials said the four children entered deep water while swimming in the drain.

Seeing them in danger, a man jumped into the water and managed to rescue three children.

However, six-year-old Ali Hasnain could not be saved.

Rescue 1122 teams recovered the boy’s body and shifted it to the THQs Hospital.

After completing the necessary procedures, the body was handed over to the family.

Ali Hasnain’s father, Ghulam Haider, is a renowned wrestler who has won several gold and other medals in wrestling competitions in Pakistan and abroad.
