Three killed in armed clash between rival Gadani groups in Ghotki
Three people were killed Sunday when a long-running dispute between two groups of the Gadani tribe erupted into gunfire near Khanpur Mehar, police said.
According to police sources, the clash took place in Nadi Gadani village, where members of both groups opened fire over an old feud reportedly linked to allegations of obscenity.
Two men — Nadi Gadani and Zafar — were killed on the spot when one group launched an armed attack. In what police described as a retaliatory response, Ghulam Mustafa was also shot dead.
Police teams reached the area shortly after the incident and shifted the bodies into custody for further legal formalities.
Authorities said the two sides have been embroiled in the dispute for several years, with tensions periodically resurfacing.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is under way.
