The Met Office on Saturday issued seasonal advisory in which it predicted gradual rise in temperature across the country from February to April 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The advisory further revealed that the mercury will further rise due to continuous dry weather and less rains. Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its adjacent areas will also experience spike temperature.

Due to continued dry weather, pollen system will start early in major cities of the country including Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore.

The Met Office also predicted that low heatwave will hit the Western areas of the country sooner.

In its seasonal advisory, the Met Office warned that due to increase in temperature uninterrupted water supply to farmers must be ensured.

The temperature will affect the Kharif crop and will decrease its duration period.

The foggy season will end due to rise in temperature.
