An incident of security breach was occurred at AJK Prime Minister House, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to details, an unknown man sneaked into the room of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas after hoodwinking the officials appointed on the security of the premier.

After seeing an unknown person in his room, PM Ilyas raised an alarm. His noise alerted the intruder who managed to scurry away in no time.

AJK PM spokesperson Dr Irfan confirmed the news of breach in the PM security.

Prime Minister Ilyas suspended his principal secretary and two DIGs police over the incident which happened in the night between Friday and Saturday. Besides them, all staff appointed on the PM security has also been replaced.

The spokesman said that the government had decided to hold a higher-level probe into the incident. He said that the PM House was situated at a very important area where no security lapse could be possible. There must be some insider involved in the breach, he added.

He further pointed out that all CCTV cameras were rendered ineffective before the incident which clearly indicated that some insider was involved in it.
