Any development sans human development is fake: Bilawal

PPP Chairman on Sunday said that unless the government spends on human development, whatever progress it claims, he would call it a fake development.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, Bilawal said “I’m very excited to meet the Jiyalas of Lahore, who founded the party in 1967, and later welcomed Benazir Bhutto in a historic rally,” that served as the precursor to party’s coming to power after Gen Zia’s protracted rule.
Amid the charged crowd whose sweet interruptions of “Wazir-e-Azam” occasionally distracted Bilawal’s speech, he continued, saying “Economic condition is deteriorating with each passing day.”
Bilawal said “These selected rulers are too incompetent to rule.”
Terming the metro-like projects in Lahore ostentatious, the PPP leader said “Unless the rulers spend on human development, I’d call it a fake development.”
The ultimate panacea to save the situation from further degradation is that all should rally around PPP as only this party can bring about poor-friendly policies. “But it’s your test as you have to support the PPP as its victory is your victory.”
