November 9, 2020 01:17 AM

Fake matchmakers conned an 18-year-old boy into believing that he is going to get married and abducted him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The fake matchmakers used to talk to the boy in a girl’s voice and promised him to find a suitable girl for him. They even assured the boy that after hectic efforts they have shortlisted a ‘perfect match’ for him. Now, all they wanted was to take him with them and set the future modalities of his new relationship, which in fact was never there as there was no girl waiting for him.

As per the victim’s family, the fake kidnappers asked to take him with them, but their son never came back.

The victim family appealed to the DIG Larkana to intervene in the matter and take all-out efforts to rescue their son, the TV channel reported.

The TV channel quoting a local citizen reported that more cases of dacoity, motorbike theft and robbery have been reported this week in the city.
