CDA officer removed on harassment charges
Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad authorities Friday removed an officer of the Directorate Municipal Administration (DMA) on the harassment of female charges.
According to 24News HD TV Channel, a female filed a complaint of harassment against the DMA Security Supervisor Bashir Khokhar to the higher authorities of the CDA the other day.
The female victim made an allegation in her complaint that she was harassed by the said officer when she applied for a site allotment in the department.
The Chairman of the CDA immediately took the notice of the complaint of the woman and directed the DMA Director to take stern action against the accused.
On the CDA chairman directive, the DMA director removed the accused Security Supervisor Bashir Khokhar and returned his services to the CDA.
A notification about returning the services of the accused officer to the CDA has also been issued without any delay and a departmental inquiry against him has been initiated.
