Megan Thee Stallion accused of hiring mariachi band to serve streamer Adin Ross with legal papers

Megan Thee Stallion has been accused by popular streamer Adin Ross of employing a mariachi band to serve him with legal documents in an unusual legal move.

Ross, 24, made the claim during a livestream, alleging that the 30-year-old Grammy-winning artist and her team at Roc Nation arranged for musicians to appear outside his home.

According to him, the band was hired in a bid to draw him out so he could be served with paperwork.

“Listen to what the lawyers did,” Ross said during the broadcast. “They called a mariachi to my house. They called a mariachi, like a Mexican band, to perform outside my house… to make me want to come outside so they can serve me the paper.”

Ross displayed what he said was video evidence of the band performing outside his residence, telling viewers that he felt “baited” by the legal strategy.

The streamer later discussed the matter with podcaster DJ Akademiks, reiterating his belief that Megan’s attorneys used the unconventional method after failing to serve him directly.

The tension between Ross and Megan Thee Stallion stems from his vocal support for Canadian rapper Tory Lanez, who is serving a 10-year prison sentence in connection with the 2020 shooting incident in which Megan was injured.

Ross has repeatedly defended Lanez, claiming the case lacked evidence and accusing Megan of making inconsistent statements.

On livestreams and on social media, Ross has dismissed Megan’s account of events, alleging her injuries came from stepping on glass rather than a bullet wound.

He has also echoed the “Free Tory” slogan, telling his audience: “I don’t give a f*** where I’m at in life: Free Tory Lanez.”

Megan, who earlier this year described Lanez as a “demon,” has testified in court that the shooting and its aftermath left her in fear for her safety. In January, a Los Angeles judge granted her a civil restraining order against Lanez, barring him from any contact with her for five years.

During the hearing, Megan told the court that she continues to feel unsafe and fears retribution once Lanez is released. “The person who shot me won’t let me forget it,” she said. “I feel like maybe he’ll shoot me again, and maybe this time I won’t make it.”
