14 Punjab cops nominated for Quaid-e-Azam and Presidential medals

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz approved the names of 15 officers and personnel of Punjab police for the Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal and the Presidential Police Medals, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The approval was granted during a meeting of the Punjab cabinet. Constable Faizan from Khushab was nominated for Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal, and Sub-Inspector Zaheeruddin Babar, martyred Police Constable Ismail Rauf were also nominated for Quaid-e-Azam Medal.

A former District Police Officer (DPO) and 11 other political officers and personnel were nominated for Presidential Police Medals.

In 2025, several Punjab Police officers were recognized with awards for their service and achievements. ASP Anam Sher Khan received the International Criminal Investigation Award, while SP Ayesha Butt was selected for the International Association of Women Police Excellence in Performance Award.
