Two men electrocuted while repairing power line in Layyah

Two men were electrocuted to death in a nearby village of Layyah after they came into contact with a live electricity wire, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.

The victims were identified as Ijaz Ahmed and Muhammad Mujahid.

According to initial reports, the two men were connecting a wire from an electricity pole to their home situated at Chak No 146 when they suddenly received a severe electric shock.

Rescue teams reached the scene and confirmed that both men had died.

Their bodies were handed over to their families after completion of the necessary legal formalities.
