Grade-19 officers’ nominations for 39th Senior Management Course revised again
The Establishment Division has revised for the third time the list of Grade-19 officers nominated for the 39th Senior Management Course (SMC), which is mandatory for promotion from Grade 19 to Grade 20 in the federal and provincial bureaucracy.
According to the Establishment Division, the latest changes include the cancellation of nominations of five officers, the addition of 18 new nominees and changes in the training stations of nine officers. An official letter in this regard has been sent to the Rector of the National School of Public Policy (NSPP).
The officers whose nominations have been cancelled include Jaffarabad SSP Kamran Nawaz Panjotha of the Police Service of Pakistan, Director (Operations) IPRE (North) Khyal Muhammad of the Customs Service, Sana Umar of the Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service, Director General MERC Ministry of Education Balochistan Zulfiqar Jatoi and Chief Program Manager Reform Support Unit Sindh Junaid Hameed Samo.
According to the details of the additional nominations, the newly nominated officers include Deputy Commissioner Khanewal Salma Suleman, AIG Discipline CPO Punjab Rana Tahir Rehman, Secretary FBR (Headquarters) Muhammad Ibrahim, Postmaster General (Admin) Southern Punjab Circle Multan Saifullah, Director Admin Workers Welfare Fund Saud-ur-Rehman, Director Legal Workers Welfare Fund Faisal Tariq, Director DP Statistics Institute Muhammad Ehtesham, Additional Director (Investigation) FIA Amir Nawaz, Additional Secretary Livestock Department Balochistan Muhammad Naeem Bazai and Additional Director Medical Store Depot Balochistan Dr. Muhammad Ismail.
Other additional nominees include Director TDAP Sialkot Amira Pervez, Zahid Hussain Abbasi, who is awaiting appointment in the Ministry of Commerce, Director to the Chief Election Commissioner Khurshid Alam, Additional Director General (MCO) Election Commission of Pakistan Nazar Abbas, DGOM Operations Benazir Income Support Programme Fawad Nawaz Kayani, Additional Director Investigation FIA Balochistan Saeed Ahmed Memon, CDA Executive Cadre K Attaullah and Additional Director NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dawood Khan.
The Establishment Division said that the 39th Senior Management Course will be held from January 19 to May 8, 2026. All nominated officers have been directed to report to their respective National Executive Programmes Academy (NEPA) by January 16, 2026.
The Senior Management Course is a key component of the civil service promotion framework and aims to enhance leadership, policy formulation and management skills of senior officers.
