Kh Saad appeals to PM for postponing exams
PML-N leader Kh Saad Rafique has called upon Prime Minister Imran Khan to put off the examinations of classes 10 and 12 for a few weeks, 24 NewsHD TV Channel reported on Friday.
According to Saad, he left with no option but to raise the matter with the prime minister, saying that he tried his best but his voice fell on a deaf ear in National Assembly.
He repeated his request for delaying the exams commencing from July10 as, according to him, students were are 'not prepared'. The students has not gotten through 'smart syllabus' that will show poor results, he opined.
Saad made the same request on flour of National Assembly that met with Speaker Asad Qaisar in the chair on Thursday on the former's calling attention notice.
The PML-N leader urged Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood who was in AJK for electioneering to come to the assembly for a few hours to have debate on the matter.
The federal minister took to the social media on Friday to flay the PML-N leader for 'playing politics' although the latter stressed that his reservations were apolitical. "It is not a political issue at all … it is future of thousands of youth," Saad pleaded in his speech at the assembly.
